Alternatively, you could get that multi-purpose adapter and a USB-C charger - again, I'd recommend at least 90W - and then connect that to the USB-C power passthrough port on the adapter.So there may not be enough power depending on what you're trying to run. The reason is that the adapter can only draw whatever amount of power the system provides over USB-C, and that then has to cover running the adapter itself and powering any USB peripherals you connect. This will work fine except that USB peripherals that draw a lot of power, such as USB-powered external hard drives, may not work reliably through the adapter.
